Green, the color of life and of springtime,
but also for centuries the color of beauty and constant love. In ancient Rome it was the color of Venus, the goddess
of beauty of love. Emerald. May's birthstone. This AAA grade emerald is a lab grown gem. Lab grown
gems are molecularly the same as natural stones mined from nature, but they are simply grown in a lab. Measuring in
at 25 carats, it is trillion faceted meaning it has three sides and comes to a point in the back. I have hand wrapped
it in sterling silver wire attaching it to sterling silver chain. To the remainder of the chain section I have hand
wrapped 740 tsavorite garnets on my handcrafted sterling silver ball pins individually and attached them to the links of the
chain. Tsavorite garnets come from Africa between Kenya and Tanzania and are green grossularite, a mineral belonging
to the gemstone garnet group. The section running along the collarbone around the back of the neck is composed of hand
wrapped smooth oval shaped tsavorite garnets and linking them together. I have finished this piece with an oval shaped
